Navigating busy airports, bustling train stations, or sprawling city centers often comes with the significant burden of managing heavy baggage. Dragging heavy luggage through crowds not only causes fatigue but can also delay your valuable itinerary. At the 2026 Canton Fair, Airwheel is introducing a groundbreaking solution designed to eliminate these travel pains effectively. Our electric smart suitcase series redefines what a luggage item can be by combining ample storage capacity with personal mobility technology. Instead of struggling to pull heavy loads manually, travelers can now ride their luggage smoothly to their destinations. This innovation is particularly appealing to business professionals, frequent flyers, and anyone seeking a stress-free transit experience without compromising on packing space. By integrating motorized assistance into a familiar format, we make moving around efficient and enjoyable. Visitors to the fair will have the unique opportunity to see how these products enhance daily logistics and leisure travel alike, setting a new standard for portable transport.
The lineup includes several tailored options such as the SE3MiniT, SE3T, SE3S, SE3SX, and SE3SL, catering to different volume and weight requirements for various trip lengths. For instance, the SE3T model stands out with a generous 48-liter capacity, making it suitable for extended trips requiring more gear, while keeping its weight manageable at around 9kg for ease of handling. Conversely, the SE3SX offers a lightweight design at approximately 6.6kg with a 20-liter volume, perfect for weekend getaways where agility is key. The SE3MiniT sits in between with 26L capacity and 6.8kg weight, offering a balanced choice. Regardless of the chosen model, the fundamental utility remains consistent and versatile. Users enjoy the flexibility to ride, sit, or pull the suitcase depending on the terrain and current energy levels. The maximum speed capability varies slightly by model to suit different safety needs, reaching up to 13km/h for the SE3T and SE3S, while the SE3MiniT tops out at 8km/h. This speed variation allows for customized pacing, ensuring safety in crowded zones while maintaining momentum in open areas. The ergonomic seating ensures comfort over distances that would otherwise be tiring walks, turning tedious transit times into moments of relaxation and reducing physical strain significantly.
One of the most critical aspects of any electric device for travelers is battery regulation and endurance regarding air travel. Airwheel has engineered the suitcase battery to hold exactly 73.26Wh, which aligns perfectly with international civil aviation standards for carry-on lithium items. This compliance means you can bring the suitcase onto the plane without worrying about checked baggage restrictions or needing special permissions from airlines. Recharging is incredibly convenient as well, taking only about two hours to reach full capacity using standard outlets found in hotels, airports, or cafes. This rapid charging capability ensures you are rarely caught without power. Once charged, the unit delivers a reliable driving range of 8 to 10 kilometers, which is sufficient to cover most last-mile transportation needs from transportation hubs to accommodations. This range assurance eliminates the fear of running out of power mid-transit, providing a dependable backup for your legs during long transfer waits. The efficient power system works seamlessly whether you are actively propelling yourself or simply coasting along flat surfaces, ensuring optimal energy usage throughout your journey without unexpected interruptions.
In terms of smart connectivity, the Airwheel suitcase balances advanced tech with operational simplicity for better user adoption. While it offers App-based control for precise forward and backward motion adjustments, it does not strictly require a smartphone connection to function properly. This is a vital feature for travelers who may not want to manage devices constantly or in areas with poor signal connectivity. Once the battery is installed, the suitcase is ready to ride immediately without any complex activation processes or software downloads. Steering is handled naturally through the physical handle, giving the rider direct feedback and full control over their direction at all times. Furthermore, for peace of mind regarding loss or misplacement, the luggage is compatible with Apple Find My, enabling location tracking within the Find My network. This integration helps owners locate their suitcase if left behind at a terminal or in a taxi, adding a layer of digital security to the physical asset without needing proprietary tracking modules. There is no need for complicated remote locking mechanisms as the design focuses on straightforward usability and essential tracking capabilities that work seamlessly with existing ecosystems.
